Director of Professional Development
Professional outreach to schedule guest speakers Plan meetings: Icebreakers, workshops, food, guest speakers, power-points Maintain strong professional relations with speakers and alumni, regularly Secretary Distribute meeting minutes for each semester Record meeting minutes Weekly email newsletter Recruits members to HBSA In charge of organizing tabling events Implement a recruitment plan for the beginning of the semester and collecting membership applications. ULSA Representatives Attends (or calls in) bi-weekly meetings held throughout Los Angeles area Budget for 3-4 meetings a semester Bridge between SDSU and ULSA Grow network Director of Marketing - Internal & External Responsible for marketing HBSA to the SDSU community Manage social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, HBSA website Create social media content, promotional items, flyers, and more. Tabling for attracting new members Director of Events Arranges a community service events along with social and professional events on and off campus. Plans and budgets events for HBSA: § Socials § Community Service § Business events Director of Fundraising Finds corporate sponsors, monetary donations, high school conference supplies, etc. In charge of hosting fundraising events. Plan and coordinate fundraisers for HBSA Grow funds of HBSA in order to increase scholarship amounts Special Events Coordinator |
College of Business Council Representative
Acts as liaison between HBSA and Associated Business Student Council (ABSC) Acts as a liaison between HBSA and United Latino Students (ULS). Provides updates regarding ULSA and ABSC events and opportunities. Co-Manages SD Weekender with San Diego Weekender Coordinator. Responsible for submitting the ABSC awards (Spring Semester only). High School Outreach Coordinator Organizes and plans high school conference for Spring. Looks for recruitment and sponsorship opportunities, as well as overseeing the different HSC committees. Encourages participation from officers, members, and community. |
